1. Do you export to Australia and Europe?
Yes we can export your goods out of the UK! We have a dedicated export department knowledgeable in all export and import documentation along with packing requirements and restrictions. The cost of your export will depend on where you are and what kind of goods you are ordering. 2. Can I order a sample of this product?
We have free samples readily available for a variety of our products, just call and ask what we have available.
3. What tape do you recommend for glazing?
This will depend on the application. For example, Georgian Bar Tape is specifically designed to adhere Georgian bars to glass, Butyl Tape is ideal for fully bedded in frames and is tried and tested to work with Silfix U9 and EPDM Tape is an extruded closed cellular rubber sealing strip which ensures air and water tightness in windows. We have a range of data sheets on the website with further information on the products and we’re always on hand to answer any specific questions surrounding particular products.
4. What’s the difference between parting bead and staff bead?
Staff bead is used around the edge of the window to keep the glass snugly and neatly against the frame, whereas parting bead is inserted between the two sash windows to ensure they move independently of one another without too much friction. We stock both in a variety of sizes, so we’re sure to have what you’re looking for.
