As part of the fire containment range supplied by Pyroplex Ltd, this fire rated expanding foam is tested in conjunction with various door set configurations to both BS and EU standards.
Fire Rated expanding PU foam is a fire retardant based polyurethane expanding foam, which is pink in colour and sets in a solid form.
It is suitable for sealing gaps around doors and window frames.
Pyroplex Fire Rated Foam will achieve a fire resistance period of up to 120 minutes when you use it in conjunction with a mineral fibre backing material.
